What we collect

Information you voluntarily provide through our contact form (name, email, business name, your enquiry).
With your consent, aggregated and non-identifying analytics about how the website is used, via Google Analytics 4 (see Cookies below).
Server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) retained for security purposes.

Your rights under UK GDPR

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@stuffedmonkeywebdesign.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Cookies

The site loads no analytics cookies until you accept them. On your first visit you will see a banner with equal Accept and Reject options; nothing is stored until you choose, and you can change your mind at any time.

If you accept, we use Google Analytics 4 to measure aggregated, non-identifying traffic (pages viewed, approximate region, device type). It sets two first-party cookies:

_ga, which distinguishes visitors, expiring after two years.
_ga_HG21829Z14, which holds session state for our specific Analytics property, expiring after two years.

We run Google Consent Mode v2 with all storage denied by default, so Google sets these cookies only after you accept. We do not use advertising, remarketing or personalisation cookies, and we do not sell your data.

Data retention

Enquiry data is retained for up to 24 months unless you become a client, in which case it is retained for the duration of our engagement plus seven years for tax purposes.
