Pilates, yoga & barre studio
The Fitness Consultancy
Pilates, yoga and barre in Watford and a women-only studio in Harrow. Each of its five offers has its own page, and the timetable links straight to booking.
A fitness website's main job is to get someone from "that looks nice" to booked, whether that is a class on your timetable or a first session with you. We have built sites for two studios near Watford, one of which also runs personal training. Rent yours for £299 setup and a monthly plan, or own it from £750.

Two studios near Watford, with two different answers to booking. Both are live sites you can visit.

Pilates, yoga & barre studio
Pilates, yoga and barre in Watford and a women-only studio in Harrow. Each of its five offers has its own page, and the timetable links straight to booking.

Mat Pilates & wellness studio
Mat Pilates in Bushey and Elstree, plus Zoom classes. We built her booking system from the ground up, with in-person and online students on one timetable.
Leigh helped me to build my website and also my booking system. He is someone nice to communicate with and he is very supportive of your needs. I certainly recommend Leigh’s services.
Someone looking for a class wants three answers quickly: what you teach, when, and how to book. The rest of the site backs those answers up.
A timetable that books in a few taps. People can browse, pick a class and book without hunting around for the right link.
A page for each thing you teach. Pilates, barre, yoga or personal training each get their own page, so each can be found on its own.
Prices on show. Class passes, blocks and intro offers in plain words, so people do not have to message you to ask.
Your teachers. Who teaches, what they are qualified in and what a class with them feels like.
Found nearby. Local SEO and a Google Business Profile that agree with each other, for people searching for a class near them.
Made for a phone. People check the timetable on the way out of the door, so the site is designed for a phone first.
If you already take bookings online, we can work with the booking system you use now: your timetable and class pages link straight into it, so browsing and booking feel like one journey. The Fitness Consultancy's timetable works this way, with every class linking directly to booking.
Some studios do not fit a booking app. Valerie runs group mat classes at different levels, 1-to-1 sessions, support for orthopaedic conditions and Zoom classes, each with its own capacity and package pricing. Instead of bending her teaching to a template, we designed and built a booking system around it. In-person and Zoom students share one timetable, so a class is never booked past its limit and nothing is managed twice.
Whichever way you go, booking systems are quoted separately, on top of the website, once we know how you take bookings now.
Read the case studies for Pilates with Valerie and The Fitness Consultancy, or see our work on custom systems.
A personal trainer's website does a different job from a studio's. There is no timetable to browse. Someone is deciding whether to trust you with their training, so the site has to show who you are, who you help and what it costs, then make the first step easy.
A personal trainer website we build covers:
The Fitness Consultancy runs personal training alongside its studio classes, and personal training has its own page on the site we built, separate from the timetable. That keeps it findable in search on its own, and it means someone after a trainer is not wading through class names. See the case study.
Most trainers working on their own need a small site, which a Pay Monthly Website covers from £299 setup. If you train from a studio of your own, the timetable and booking ideas above apply to you too.
The site at the top of this page is a demo. We designed it for a made-up Pilates and yoga studio in Watford to show what else is possible: an intro offer up front, class sizes on show and a booking button always in reach, on a phone as well as a laptop.
Yours would be built around your classes, your teachers and your photos.

Rent the site as a Pay Monthly Website and spread the cost, or pay once and own it. Local adds Google Business Profile management and review requests, for people searching for a class nearby. Booking systems are quoted separately, on top of the website. We can connect the one you already use or build one, as we did for Pilates with Valerie.

On WordPress or another CMS? Those sites go on a care plan at £75 or £125 a month instead, because the CMS and its plugins need updating every month. Buy a rented site out any time for £550. No VAT to add. The price you see is the price you pay.
A Pay Monthly Website is £299 setup, then £29, £69 or £250 a month depending on the plan. A site you own starts from £750 for a Starter build, or £1,500 for a Standard build with a blog you edit yourself. Booking systems are quoted separately, on top of the website. We can connect the one you already use or build one, as we did for Pilates with Valerie. No VAT to add. The price you see is the price you pay.
If your booking system gives you a booking page or a link for each class, we can link your timetable and class pages straight to it, so browsing and booking feel like one journey. Tell us which system you use on the first call and we will check how it works before we quote. Connecting it is quoted separately, on top of the website.
Yes. The booking system we built for Pilates with Valerie handles group mat classes, 1-to-1 sessions and Zoom classes, each with its own capacity and package pricing, on one timetable. We quote a bespoke system separately, on top of the website, after a chat about how you run your classes.
We think so. People comparing studios want to know what a class or a block costs before they get in touch, and a clear price saves you answering the same message again and again. Changing a price later counts as a small change on your monthly plan.
Yes. We look at what you have first, keep the page addresses that already bring people in, and redirect any that change, so you do not lose the searches you already turn up for.
Every site we build has local SEO foundations and a page for each class type. Nobody can honestly promise you a position on Google. Local adds Google Business Profile management, review requests and ongoing local SEO checks.
A standard small business website takes four to six weeks from brief to launch. A bespoke booking system takes longer, and we give you a timescale with the quote.
Your timetable usually lives in your booking system, so you update it there and the site stays in step. For the rest of the site, Local includes 30 minutes of changes a month and Complete SEO 60; beyond that, changes are £30 per 30 minutes. A change is a small edit to what is already on the site: text, photos, prices, opening hours and small tweaks. New pages are £75 each, one-off, and new features are quoted first. Want to make changes yourself? Choose a site you own with an editor: a Standard build has a blog or news page you edit yourself, and a Growth build has a CMS for editing the whole site. Editing it yourself costs nothing.
On a monthly plan we host the site, back it up daily, keep its software updated and watch that it stays online. Fixes to anything we built cost nothing. Site & Hosting is £29 a month; see Pay Monthly Websites for what each plan adds.
Yes. The Fitness Consultancy runs personal training alongside its classes, and on the site we built, personal training has its own page, so people looking for a trainer land on that page rather than the class timetable. Valerie is one instructor teaching in two locations and online. A personal trainer working alone may only need a Starter site of up to 5 pages (from £750), or a Pay Monthly Website of up to 4 pages on Site & Hosting (£299 setup, then £29 a month), to begin with.
It suits a studio that would rather not pay for the whole build up front. It is £299 setup, then a monthly plan with no minimum term and 30 days' notice. Your domain, the content and photos you supply, and your Google Business Profile are always yours, and you can buy the site out any time for £550.
