Stuffed Monkey Web Design was founded in 2015 with one idea: that small and medium-sized businesses in Hertfordshire should get the same quality of web design, technical SEO and CRM engineering that London agencies normally reserve for enterprise clients.

Why we exist

Too many Watford and Hertfordshire businesses end up with one of two things, a cheap template site that never ranks, or an expensive contract with a faceless London agency that quietly sub-contracts the work overseas.

We built Stuffed Monkey to be the third option: a senior, local team that charges fairly, tells the truth about what is needed, and sticks around long after launch.

Every site we ship passes a strict internal checklist before launch:

Core Web Vitals: all three metrics in the "good" band on mobile and desktop.
Accessibility: WCAG 2.2 AA as the minimum, AAA where practical.
Structured data: JSON-LD for Organization, LocalBusiness, Service, Article, FAQ and Breadcrumb as relevant.
GDPR: cookie-free by default, compliant analytics, clear consent flows where needed.
Security: HTTPS everywhere, content-security headers, regular dependency audits.
